WHAT YOU NEED TO START
  • SEPOMs Refill Inkbottles (included)
  • Screwdriver
  • Push Pin (included)
  • Damp cloth or towel
  • Printer cartridge
  • Tissue Papers

Refill Method:

1. Open the Cartridge
Remove cartridge from printer according to printer manual. With screwdriver, separate the top from the cartridge.

2. Poke a Hole with Push Pin
Tap the top of the inkbottle so no ink remains at the top portion. With pin, puncture a hole on the top of the inkbottle.

3. Match the Colours and Refill
Match the colour codes of the inkbottles to the corresponding colours of each cartridge section.
K = Black, Lt.C (light cyan) = Light Blue, Lt.M (light magenta) = Light Red.
Insert the tip of the inkbottle into the centre hole. To refill, gently squeeze the inkbottle for 2 seconds then release. Repeat this process until the sponge is fully absorbed with ink. (Approx. half bottle) Repeat this step for other colours, if necessary.

4. Fit the Cover with Tape
Replace the top onto the cartridge and seal it in place on both sides with adhesive tape.

5. Test the Cartridge
Gently press the print head onto a piece of tissue paper. If the 3 colours stain on the tissue paper proportionately, it is ready for use. Replace cartridge into printer according to printer manual. If the 3 colours mix at the print head, just absorb it with a piece of tissue paper. If there is no ink on the tissue paper, there may be some air bubbles trapped in the print head with block the ink from going out. (refer to step 6)

6. Shake the Cartridge
Wrap a piece of tissue paper over the print head, hold the cartridge with the print head facing downward and shake the cartridge a few times in order to shack out the air from the print head. Test on a piece of tissue paper again. If there is no ink, then the print head may be clogged by dried ink. Use SEPOMs Print Head Liquid Cleaner to dissolve the dried ink.

CAUTION!
  • Do not allow cartridge to dry out. This may clog the print head and affect the print quality. Always refill cartridge as soon as it is empty.
  • If your printout does not fill the text or images completely, you may need to clean your print head. Purchase SEPOMs Print Head Liquid Cleaner.
