WHAT YOU NEED TO START
  • Ink Cartridge
  • Cap Opener
  • Push Pin
  • Ink Bottles (C, M, Y)
  • Rubber Pad
  • Tissue Papers
  • Ink bottle cap

Refill Method:

1. Fit Cartridge into Cap Remove
Hold cartridge firmly to the remover and push handle down with a quick force.
Place the cartridge in the opener. Make sure the cartridge goes all the way to the back. Push the handle down until the cap breaks open.

2. Poke a Hold with Pin
Tap the top of the inkbottle, so no ink remains at the top potion. With push pin, puncture a hole at the top of the inkbottle.

3. Match the Colours and Refill
Match the colour codes of the inkbottles to the corresponding colours of each cartridge section.
C (cyan) = blue, Y = Yellow, M (magenta) = red
Insert the tip of the inkbottle into the centre hold. To refill, gentle squeeze the inkbottle for 2 second then release. Repeat this process until the sponge is fully absorbed with ink. (Approx. half bottle) Repeat this step for other colours, if necessary.

4. Place the Rubber Pad
Remove paper from magic rubber pad and place firmly onto cartridge. (Be sure the holes of the rubber pad are placed exactly over the centre ventilation holes of the cartridge and securely in place). Leave the rubber pad on the cartridge and keep away the cartridge cover.

5. Test the Carrtridge
Gently press the print head onto a piece of tissue paper. If the 3 colours stain on the tissue paper proportionately, it is ready for use. Replace cartridge into printer according to printer manual. If the 3 colours mix at the print head, just absorb it with a piece of tissue paper. If there is no ink on the tissue paper, there may be some air bubbles trapped in the print head which block the ink from going out. (Refer to point 6)

6. Shake the Cartridge
Wrap a tissue paper over print head, hold the cartridge with the print head facing downward and shake the cartridge a few times, shake out the air from the print head. Test on the tissue paper again. If there is no ink, then the print head may be clogged by dried ink. Use SEPOMs Print Head Liquid Cleaner to dissolve the dried ink.

CAUTION!
  • To Preserve unused ink, cover inkbottle with cap and store in a dry, cool place.
  • Do not allow cartridge to dry out by printing.
  • If printout of text or image is not complete, you may need to clean head.
  • Purchase SEPOMs Print Head Liquid Cleaner for head cleaning of dry ink.
