Refill Method:
|
- Remove cartridge from printer according to printer manual.
- Use pen-knife to remove a black seal where the refill hole is located.
- Locate the metal ball below the seal, with unopened inkbottle; use the tip of the inkbottle to push the metal ball into the cartridge. (Fig. 1)
- Tap the top of the inkbottle so no ink remains at the top portion.
- With pin, puncture a hole at the top of the inkbottle. Insert the tip of the inkbottle into the refill hole. (Fig.2)
- To refill, gently squeeze the inkbottle for 2 seconds then release. Repeat this process until the cartridge is full. (Fig. 2)(Approx.1 bottle).
- Remove inkbottle and wipe off excess ink from the cartridge.
- Squeeze both sides of the cartridge to minimize air pressure & at the same time, insert the rubber plug into the refill hole. (Fig. 3)
- Deflate the vacuum ball by squeezing out the air. Then fit the rubber cap over the printhead as shown and release. (Fig. 4) This is to suck out excess air inside the cartridge to reduce air pressure. Remove vacuum ball & use tissue to dap away excess ink on the printhead.
- Gently press the print head onto a piece of tissue. If ink stains on the tissue which shows 2 clear strips, it is ready for use. If ink leaks excessively at the print head, repeat step 9 again.
- Replace cartridge into printer according to printer manual.

CAUTION!
- Do not allow cartridge to dry out. This may clog the print head and affect the print quality. Always refill the cartridge as soon as it is empty.
- If your printout does not fill the text or images completely, you may need to clean your print head. Purchase SEPOMs Print Head Liquid Cleaner.
