WHAT YOU NEED TO START
  • Ink Cartridge
  • Rubber Pad
  • Cap Opener
  • Push Pin
  • Ink Bottle
  • Tissue Papers
  • Ink bottle cap

Refill Method:

1. Push Metal Ball into Cartridge
Remove cartridge from printer according to printer manual. Use pen-knife to remove a black seal where the refill hole is located. Locate the metal ball below the seal, with unopened inkbottle; use the tip to push the metal ball into the cartridge.

2. Poke a Hole with Push Pin
Tap the top of the inkbottle, so no ink remains at the top portion. With push pin, puncture a hole at the top of the inkbottle.

3. Squeeze and Fill
Insert the tip of the inkbottle into the refill hole. To refill, gently squeeze the inkbottle for 2 seconds then release. Repeat this process until the cartridge is full and remove the inkbottle. (Approx. 1 and two-third bottle for 1 cartridge)

4. Insert Rubber Plug into Refill Hole
While squeezing the side panels, insert rubber plug into refill hole.

5. Suck Air from Cartridge
Deflate the vacuum ball by squeezing-out the air. Put rubber ball over the print head as shown and then release. This step is to suck excess air from inside the cartridge to prevent the cartridge from leaking. Repeat this process until ink appears on the surface of the print head.

6. Test the Cartridge
Remove the Vacuum Ball and wipe off excess ink on the cartridge. Gently press the print head onto a piece of tissue paper. If ink stains on the tissue paper, it is ready for use. Replace cartridge into printer according to printer manual. If not, it might be caused by the presence of air bubbles. (Refer to step 7)

7. Shake the Cartridge
Wrap a piece of tissue paper over the print head, hold the cartridge with the print head facing downward and shake the cartridge a few time in order to shake out the air from the print head. Test on a piece of tissue paper again. If there is no ink, then the print head is probably clogged by dried ink. Use SEPOMs Print Head Liquid Cleaner to dissolve the dried ink.

CAUTION!
  • To Preserve unused ink, cover inkbottle with cap and store in a dry, cool place.
  • Do not allow cartridge to dry out by printing.
  • If printout of text or image is not complete, you may need to clean head.
  • Purchase SEPOMs Print Head Liquid Cleaner for head cleaning of dry ink.
