REFILL METHOD FOR
SEPOMs REFILLABLE CARTRIDGE
(Click here for Original Cartridge) 		*For SEPOMs Refillable Cartridge with AUTO-RESET-CHIP, simply proceed to refill as per normal. If without AUTO-RESET-CHIP function, please purchase IC Resetter before refilling.
 
 
1. Seal Ink Outlet with Sticker
Remove cartridge from printer according to printer manual. Turn the cartridge upside down and wipe off excess ink around the ink outlet, then paste SEPOMs sticker on it firmly. Do not remove the sticker after refilling.
 
2. Remove Cap from Vacuum Refiller
With the Vacuum Refiller facing upwards, slowly remove the cap from the tip.
 
3. Fit Vacuum Refiller into refill hole
Hold the cartridge sideway as shown and insert the tip of the Vacuum Refiller into the refill hole (where orange plug used to be) firmly. Place the cartridge upright into the plastic bag provided.
 
4. Vacuum Cartridge and Fill
Hold the refiller as shown and pull the inner tube upwards by 5-6cm approximately to pull out air from the cartridge. Then release the inner tube slowly to allow ink to flow into the cartridge. Repeat this process a few times till the cartridge is full. (Approx. 3 times)
 
TO AVIOD INK SPILLS, DO NOT PUSH DOWN THE INNER TUBE.
 
5. Remove Refiller and Clean
 
  1. Turn the cartridge and the refiller sideway as shown. Pull the inner tube outwards by 1cm to reduce pressure and slowly remove the Vacuum Refiller from the cartridge. Invert the Vacuum Refiller with the tip facing upwards; cover the tip with a piece of tissue paper and push Vacuum Refiller to its original position slowly. Cover the tip with the cap provided for storage.
     
  2. Wipe off excess ink on the refill hole.
     
  3. Replace the cartridge into the printer according to printer manual.
 
6. Colour Cartridge
 
For colour cartridge, please cover the refill hole with the orange plug (comes with new cartridge) after refilling each colour. After complete all colours and with all refill holes remain covered, tap cartridge on the table for 10-20 times. Then remove all the plugs and replace cartridge into the printer.
 
 


CAUTION

  1. Between vacuum refiller and cartridge which the connection must be tight and sealed.
     
  2. For any first time user, we are strongly recommended using a plastic bag which was provided and only leave ink bottle outside.
     
  3. Pull the inner tube up approx 5-6 cm. Hold it for few seconds wait till air withdrawing out from cartridge then slowly release the inner tube, allow the negative pressure to pull back the bottle, ink will fill into the cartridge automatically. Repeat this procedure 2-3 times till cartridge is filled up.
     
  4. Always remember, you cannot force the ink down, it might cause an ink spill due to pressure.
     
  5. After you fill up the cartridge, remove the refiller from the cartridge by facing tips upwards and cover the tips with a piece of tissue and press the inner tube up till it reaches the top. Then seal with cap for future use or recycle by disposing into a recycling bin.
     
  6. SEPOMs Inc, reserved all the right against copy and steal idea from SEPOMs Vacuum Refiller.

NOTE: Do Not Remove the Sticker Pasted Over the Print Head.
 
Place the cartridge upright and tap on the table 10-20 times. Replace the cartridge into the printer according to printer manual. Perform head cleaning 2-3 times and print nozzle check patterns. If broken lines appear, repeat head cleaning 1-2 times and test print again. If same thing appears, please switch off the printer power and allow it to rest for 24-36 hrs before testing again.
