REFILL METHOD FOR ORIGINAL CARTRIDGE

NOTE: Cartridge with IC-Chip (T007, 008, 009, 016, 017, 018, 026, 027, 028, 029, 036, 037, 038, 039, 040, 041), please purchase IC Resetter before refilling.

1. Seal Ink Outlet with Sticker
|
Remove cartridge from printer according to printer manual. Turn the cartridge upside down and wipe off excess ink around the ink outlet, then paste SEPOMs sticker on it firmly. Do not remove the sticker after refilling.

| 2. Poke a Hole on EPSON Seal |
|
| Place the cartridge upright and locate the refill hole at the top of the cartridge under the EPSON seal. Use the push pin to make a hole on the seal for refilling.

3. Remove Cap from Vacuum Refiller
|
With the Vacuum Refiller facing upwards, slowly remove the cap from the tip.

| 4. Fit Vacuum Refiller into Refill Hold |
|
| Hold the cartridge sideways as shown and insert the tip of the Vacuum Refiller into the refill hole firmly. Place the cartridge upright into the plastic bag provided. (See figure)

5. Vacuum Cartridge and Fill
|
Hold the refiller as shown and pull the inner tube upwards by 5-6cm approximately to pull out air from the cartridge. Then release the inner tube slowly to allow ink to flow into the cartridge. Repeat this process a few times till the cartridge is full. (Approx. 3 times)
TO AVOID INK SPILLS, DO NOT PUSH DOWN THE INNER TUBE.

| 6. Remove Refiller and Clean
|
|
- Turn the cartridge and the refiller sideways as shown. Pull the inner tube outward by 1cm to reduce pressure and slowly remove the Vacuum Refiller from the cartridge. Invert the Vacuum Refiller with the tip facing upwards, cover the tip with a piece of tissue paper and push Vacuum Refiller to its original position slowly. Cover the tip with the cap provided for storage.
- Wipe off excess ink on the refill hole and paste SEPOMs sticker on it.
- Replace the cartridge into the printer according to printer manual.

7. Colour Cartridge
For colour cartridge, please cover the refill hole with SEPOMs Sticker after refilling each colour. After completing all colours, tap cartridge on the table for 10-20 times. Then replace cartridge into the printer.

CAUTION
- Between vacuum refiller and cartridge, the connection must be tightly sealed.
- For first time users, we highly recommend using a plastic bag which was provided and only leave ink bottle outside.
- Pull the inner tube up approx 5-6 cm. Hold it for few seconds, wait till air withdraws out from cartridge, then slowly release the inner tube. Allow the negative pressure to pull back the bottle, ink will fill into the cartridge automatically. Repeat this procedure 2-3 times till cartridge is filled up.
- Always remember, you cannot force the ink down, it might cause an ink spill due to pressure.
- After you fill up the cartridge, remove the refiller from cartridge by facing tips upward and cover the tips with a piece of tissue and press the inner tube up till it reaches the top. Then seal with cap for future use or recycle by disposing into a recycle bin.
