| |
Refill Method:
1. Remove Plastic Plug
Remove cartridge from printer according to printer manual. With provided screw, remove the plastic plugs of the ventilation hole for each colour located at the top of the cartridge.
| |
2. Insert Rubber Plug into Vent Hole
Insert SEPOMs rubber plugs with the smaller hold facing down into the ventilation holds as indicated. Please match the colour of each hole. Y = Yellow, M = Magenta (Red), C = Cyan (Blue), K = Black.
| |
3. Poke a Hold with Cap Pin
Tap the top of the inkbottle so no ink remains at the top portion. With cap pin, puncture a hole at the top of the inkbottle.
| |
4. Squeeze and Fill

| Insert tip of inkbottle into the hole. Match the colour codes of the inkbottles to the corresponding colours of each vent hole. To refill, gently squeeze the inkbottle for 2 seconds then release. Repeat this process until no ink can be filled in. Repeat steps 4-5 for other colours.
| |
5. Test the Cartridge
Remove the inkbottle and wipe off excess ink on the cartridge. Do not remove rubber plug. Gently press the printhead onto a piece of tissue paper. If ink stains on the tissue paper, it is ready for use. Replace cartridge into printer according to printer manual. If there is no ink stain, it may be due to the present of air buddles. (refer to point 6)
| |
6. Shake the Cartridge

| Wrap a tissue paper over the print head, hold the cartridge with the print head facing downward and shake the cartridge a few times to let the air out from the print head, then test it on a piece of tissue paper again. If there is still no ink stain, the print head may be clogged by dried ink. Use SEPOMs Print Head Liquid Cleaner to dissolve the dried ink.
| |
CAUTION!
- To preserve unused ink, insert cap pin into the top of the ink bottle, and store in a dry, cool place.
- Do not allow cartridge to dry out. This may clog the print head and affect the print quality.
