BC 03 / BX-3
WHAT YOU NEED TO START
  • SEPOMs Refill Inkbottle (included)
  • Screw (included)
  • Rubber Plug (included)
  • Cap Pin (included)
  • Tissue Papers
  • Printer cartridge

Refill Method:

1. Push Metal Ball into Cartridge
Remove cartridge from printer according to printer manual. Locate the metal ball on the side of cartridge. With unopened inkbottle, use the tip to push the metal ball into the cartridge.

2. Poke a Hole with Push Pin

Tap the top of the inkbottle, so no ink remains at the top portion. With push pin, puncture a hole at the top of the inkbottle.

3. Squeeze and Fill
Hold the cartridge with the printhead facing downwards, till the cartridge to 45 degrees angle, then insert the tip of the inkbottle into the refill hole. To refill, gently squeeze the inkbottle for 2 seconds then release. Repeat this process until ink meets the refill line and remove the inkbottle.

4. Suck Air from Cartridge

To prevent cartridge from leaking, deflate the inkbottle by squeezing out the air, then insert the deflated inkbottle into the hole and then release. This will suck excess air from the cartridge into the inkbottle.

5. Insert Rubber Plug into Refill Hole
Insert rubber plug into the refill hold as soon as possible.

6. Test the Cartridge

Wipe off excess ink on the cartridge. Gently press the print head onto a piece of tissue paper. If ink stains on the tissue paper, it is ready for use. Replace cartridge into printer according to printer manual. If no ink stain, it may be due to the present of air bubbles. (refer to point 7)

7. Shake the Cartridge
Wrap a tissue paper over print head, hold the cartridge with the print head facing downward and shake the cartridge a few times in order to shake out the air from the print head. Test on a piece of tissure paper again. If there is still no ink, then the print head may be clogged by dried ink. Use SEPOMs Print Head Liquid Cleaner to dissolve the dried ink.

CAUTION!
  • To preserve unused ink, insert cap pin into the top of the inkbottle, and store in a dry, cool place.
  • Do not allow cartridge to dry out. This may clog the print head and affect the print quality.
